Como já comentei anteriormente sobre minha empatia por tendências colecionistas, eu confesso que tenho esse hábito no amadorismo fotográfico nosso de cada dia. Por meio da prática das séries fotográficas, eu acabo por acumular diversas referências visuais e compositivas no meu acervo pessoal, ao qual muitas vezes recorro durante os processos criativos.

A Itália realmente nos cativa pelo estômago! Mas sabemos que antes da degustação de uma comidinha maravilhosa vem aquela "troca de olhares", aquela paquera que junta a fome com a vontade de comer, plenamente impulsionada pela apreciação da imagem daquela comida. E não é para menos que as vitrines italianas chamaram tanto minha atenção, o que culminou ~sem querer~ nessa série, de 2012.

As I said before about my empathy for collectors trends, I confess that I have this habit in my everyday photographic amateurism . Through the practice of photographic series, I end by accumulating lots of visual and compositive references in my personal archive, to which I turn in many of my creative processes.

Italy really captivates us through our stomach! But we all know that before tasting a wonderful titbit comes that "exchange of glances", the flirting that joins the hunger with the desire to eat, fully driven by the appreciation of the food appearance. And it is not surprising that the Italian shop windows called my attention this much, culminating ~unintentionally~ in this series, of 2012.

Tomei contato com a obra de Luigi Ghirri recentemente, graças à exposição no Instituto Moreira Salles, nos 45 do segundo tempo, e exatamente como uma colega previu (valeu, Gabi!!!), fiquei atônita, encantada, apaixonada, e apesar de uma nítida densidade teória  - linda e instigante - que percorre todo seu trabalho, o processo cativante se dá entre olho e emoção, ali, acessível.

I came in touch with the work of Luigi Ghirri recently, thanks to the Instituto Moreira Salles exposure, in the very last day, and exactly as predicted my colleague (thanks, Gabi!), I was astonished, delighted, passionate, and despite a - beautiful and exciting - clear theoretical density that runs throughout his work, the captivating process takes between eye and emotion, right there, accessible.

Felizmente constituímos dois pontos que geram uma reta de conexão entre duas grandes cidades do continente americano, New York e São Paulo, e buscamos com essa ligação enriquecer nossas referências e pontos de vista. Reunimos aqui algumas fotos que cada uma tirou no seu cotidiano, detalhes das cidades em que vivemos atualmente, belezas escondidas no trivial, ou paisagens que nem sempre reparamos pela correria da rotina.

Fortunately we constitute two points that generate a direct link between two great cities of the American continent, New York and Sao Paulo, and we seek to enrich our references and viewpoints with that connection. We've rounded up some photos taken by each of us in our daily lives, details of the cities we live in today, hidden beauties in the commonplace, or landscapes that are not always noticed by the rush of the routine.
